POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Human Resources Generalist plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive HR support across multiple business units. This position is responsible for managing a wide spectrum of HR functions, including onboarding, terminations, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policy administration, compliance, HRIS maintenance, and talent development. Serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers, the Senior HR Generalist ensures that HR practices are applied consistently and effectively while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational needs. The Senior HR Generalist partners with leadership to anticipate workforce challenges, support organizational initiatives, and align HR solutions with business objectives. A key focus is maintaining compliance with employment laws, developing and refining HR policies, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance. In addition to U.S.-based responsibilities, the Senior HR Generalist may provide support for international teams, ensuring alignment with global HR standards and delivering value-added services across the organization. What You Will Be Responsible For
Supporting a variety of HR functions, including onboarding; contracts for new hires, benefits administration, promotions and transfers, HR training, performance management, compensation management, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, recognition, and termination activities. Business unit responsibility includes all global employees within a business unit/department. Assist with development of HR policies, practices, and compliance matters. Partner with Senior HR Business Partners to identify and address HR needs and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with employees and the HR team to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations, and maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the legal department as needed. Participate in the design and delivery of training and development programs and internal surveys for leaders and employees, and evaluate and monitor those training programs and surveys to ensure that training objectives are successfully met. Lead and manage new HR projects and initiatives, as needed. Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned as required. Candidate Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required, with a focus on onboarding, benefits administration, training, performance management, HR policy and best practices, compliance, and employment laws and regulations. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders and employees. Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment. HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is ideally preferred but not required. Target Compensation: Annual base salary target of $90,000 to $110,000 depending on job related knowledge, skills, and level of experience. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
