Description: Do you like helping Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems? Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing technologies? Do you have a knack for helping groups understand application architectures and integration approaches, and the consultative and leadership skills to launch a project on a trajectory to success? As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the GovTech markets for cloud computing, working with a world class sales and business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community and collaborate with and educate some of the brightest technical minds across enterprise architecture. Responsibilities
Own the technical engagement and the ultimate success around specific implementation projects. Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs. Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how on how applications and services are built using the AWS platform. Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services. Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community. Collaborate with sales, business development, and customers to shape and deliver on cloud strategies. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience. 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries. Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience. Experience working with end user or developer communities. Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies. Travel
Ability to travel 30%. About the Team
