FBO is currently seeking a Litigation Trial Attorney with 5+ years of trial experience. The position provides an opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong litigation team. Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of insurance defense matters (auto, slip and fall, construction, products liability and property damage matters) up to and through trial, including discovery, court appearances, depositions/examinations under oath, expert issues, and client management Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses to prepare for and complete trial testimony Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, required client reports Render opinions on liability, damages and case value Appear before courts and arbitrators/mediators Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school Admitted to NJ Bar Must have completed at least five (5) civil trials 5+ years previous experience in litigation with trial experience Experience with insurance defense, slip and falls, and construction litigation matters Ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Exceptional writing and communication skills Computer proficiency Ability to maintain/enter billable time Ability to prioritize assignments, reporting deadlines and case load with trial schedule Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Candidate must have a flexible schedule and demonstrate a commitment to providing quality client service and adherence to work completion deadlines Candidate must be a member in good standing with the New Jersey Bar and be able to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, etc. Application and Equal Opportunity
