Clinical Training Coordinator
Department: National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC) – HIV/Viral Hepatitis Clinical Education Coordinator, UC San Francisco Job Type: Part Time Location: Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG), San Francisco, CA Location details: Fully On-Site; Shift details: M-F 7:00am to 5:00pm; 30% appointment Overview
The NCCC HIV/Viral Hepatitis Clinical Education Coordinator will be responsible for: (a) providing clinical education to NCCC\'s external users/learners via the program\'s teleconsultation services and public-facing resources; and (b) in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and Clinical Director, designing and delivering NCCC\'s multi-component clinical educational programming. As the Clinical Education Coordinator, the incumbent will use their clinical acumen in HIV, viral hepatitis and substance use care to provide clinical education directly to NCCC users across teleconsultation services. They will work with the Principal Investigator and Clinical Director to identify and execute training priorities, including: coordinating with subject matter experts for relevant topics; reviewing new research and updated clinical guidelines; organizing NCCC\'s evidence libraries and internal clinical protocols; coordinating the MAI Preceptorship to develop HIV care expertise among external learners; and identifying education domains such as team-based care and the impact of systems/policy changes on health care delivery. The coordinator will also help assess and improve the effectiveness of NCCC\'s educational programming and ensure program compliance. As an educator, the incumbent will provide clinical education directly to NCCC users via teleconsultation services, including answering incoming clinician calls on HIV, viral hepatitis, and related conditions. They will perform administrative/operational duties to support reporting and program activities, prepare educational materials, participate in quality improvement activities, and assist with regulatory activities as appropriate. The coordinator will interface with diverse stakeholders and maintain interpersonal professionalism, collaboration, and integrity to ensure high-quality services and deliverables. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Salary range: $110,400 - $235,400 (Annual). Placement within the range depends on experience and internal equity. For union-represented positions, placement is guided by the collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities

Required
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience/training Graduate-level degree in health professions training (e.g., MD/DO, MSN/DNP, PA, PharmD) Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills; ability to influence diverse stakeholders Valid license as Physician, Advanced Practice Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Pharmacist Preferred
Board Certification in Family Medicine, Infectious Diseases, or General Internal Medicine AAHIVM certification as HIV Specialist or HIV Pharmacist, or HIV Clinical Fellowship experience Licenses/Certifications
Valid Physician, Advanced Practice Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Pharmacist License Board Certification in Family Medicine, Infectious Diseases, or General Internal Medicine (preferred) AAHIVM certification or HIV Fellowship experience (preferred) Equal Employment Opportunity
