Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations, as well as hands-on experience with various precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques. Duties Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements. Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations. Perform quality audits to assess adherence to established quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Collect and analyze data related to product quality and process performance to support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Maintain documentation related to quality control processes, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports. Support training initiatives for staff on quality assurance practices and procedures. Requirements Proven experience in a quality control or assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred. Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
