We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires hands-on experience with both residential and commercial projects, focusing on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Carpenter/Laborer will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and quality in all work. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Assist in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed. Engage in restoration projects, including water damage restoration and mold remediation. Carry out fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding work. Participate in roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and metal stud framing activities. Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during construction processes. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and fabrication projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus. Strong skills in woodworking, caulking, stucco application, and construction painting. Ability to operate CNC machinery is advantageous. Experience with plumbing, electrical work, or maintenance person services is beneficial. Knowledge of rebar installation and concrete forming techniques is preferred. Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
