Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee and execute various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with expertise in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires leadership abilities to manage a team effectively while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets quality standards and project specifications. Perform construction estimating to provide accurate project cost assessments. Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks, including cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various carpentry tasks, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution. Oversee concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, and other essential construction activities. Manage restoration projects, including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and remodeling tasks. Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting requirements and ensure proper techniques are employed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site while adhering to safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry. Strong skills in blueprint reading, woodworking, roofing, siding, caulking, stucco application, and flooring installation. Familiarity with residential framing, CNC operation, assembly processes, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, tile laying, and construction painting is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently as required by project demands. Previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike.
