Custom Cabinet Maker

The Ellis Reid Millwork & Specialties shop builds custom furniture quality cabinets for high end projects. We are looking to hire a high level experienced cabinet maker to help keep up with our rapidly growing business demands. This position is for someone with experience only. Top level competitive pay available for high level cabinet and furniture makers. Full time work available immediately with overtime available most week. Our shop is roughly 20,000 conditioned square feet of ever improving woodworking machinery, and large individual work spaces. We are a young business with extremely talented craftsmen who enjoy tackling challenging projects, and we need more Summary As a Custom Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinetry tailored to client specifications. Reporting to the lead carpenter, your role involves utilizing core skills such as hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Your premium skills in custom construction will enhance project efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, relevant skills in blueprint reading and woodworking will ensure that each piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. Join our team to bring innovative designs to life in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Measure and cut wood to specifications for custom cabinetry. Assemble and install cabinets, ensuring precision and quality craftsmanship. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements. Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively during construction. Collaborate with management to ensure product assembly quality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Estimate materials and labor costs for projects accurately. Qualifications Proficient in hand and power tools for woodworking and carpentry. Strong understanding of construction techniques and processes. Experience in blueprint reading and construction. Skilled in carpentry, with a focus on custom cabinetry. Familiarity with manufacturing, and large machine safety protocols.
