Groundskeeper/Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and safety of both Harvest Christian Academy and the church facility. The top priority for this role is grounds maintenance, including lawn care, landscaping, and exterior upkeep. Additional responsibilities include routine inspections, basic repairs, and facility maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, church members, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Grounds Maintenance (Priority): Maintain lawn and landscaping: mow, edge, weed, trim hedges, and remove debris. Ensure outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and presentable across both properties. Maintain playgrounds, parking areas, sidewalks, and common grounds. Facility Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of buildings, playgrounds, classrooms, and church facilities. Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.). Maintain and organize tools and equipment. Address maintenance requests in a timely manner from school or church leadership. Support seasonal projects, emergency repairs, and event setup or breakdown as needed. Requirements: Proven maintenance and groundskeeping experience. Ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, drills, saws, hammers, wrenches). Self-motivated with strong time management and follow-through. Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Professional demeanor and respect for a faith-based environment. Must pass a state and DECAL-approved background check. Must have a valid Class C Driver's License.
