Traffic Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in international logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of export processes, both LCL (Less than Container Load) and FCL (Full Container Load) shipments. Familiarity with Magaya software is a strong plus. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage export shipments from booking to final delivery. Handle LCL and FCL cargo arrangements, documentation, and scheduling. Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment handling. Prepare and review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and export declarations. Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving any issues or delays. Maintain compliance with all U.S. export regulations and destination country requirements. Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo flow. Utilize Magaya (or similar TMS software) to manage bookings, documentation, and tracking (training provided if necessary). Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or NVOCC operations. Proven expertise in export procedures for LCL and FCL shipments. Knowledge of Magaya software is preferred. Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
