Position: Executive Director - Finance
Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Duration: 4-month assignment with possible extensions
We're seeking a highly experienced and strategic Executive Director of Finance to join in a senior leadership role. You will be responsible for overseeing system-wide financial operations, ensuring our practices support high-quality, cost-effective healthcare across California.
Responsibilities:
System-Wide Financial Oversight:
Lead and manage financial operations for all MemorialCare entities, including hospitals and medical groups.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies, capital plans, and operational budgets.
High-Level Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, performance metrics, and variance analyses to the CFO and executive team.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with all California healthcare financial regulations, reporting requirements, and audit standards.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement, leading initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Serve as a key advisor to the CFO and collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders on financial decision-making.
Required:
Minimum of 10+ years
of progressive financial leadership experience

Deep understanding of California healthcare regulations
and financial reporting standards.
Proven ability to lead complex financial operations and present to executive leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.
Preferred:
Experience within a
hospital system

MBA, MHA, or CPA
.
Accounting experience.
