Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room attendant and/or Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments, and maintaining our immaculate reputation for overall cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our guests receive the highest standard of service. Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry operations, particularly within a hotel setting, is highly valued. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures to ensure proper cleaning and drying of linens and garments. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron various types of fabrics while adhering to safety and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, floors, and work surfaces. Handle special requests for dry cleaning or delicate items with care and precision. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and communicate needs for replenishment. Assist in training new staff members on laundry processes and safety protocols as needed. Ability to follow our room cleaning guidelines and produce results in an efficient manner. Requirements Previous experience in laundry operations or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.
