Talent Acquisition Team Lead

to join our Operations Talent team. The Team Lead, Talent Acquisition will build, develop, and lead the execution of full life-cycle recruiting for Carvanas Operations teams, guiding a recruiting team to meet high-volume hiring targets. In this role youll lead your team to success in staffing Carvanas Operations teams with top talent, develop strong business relationships with partners and internal customers, and deliver tangible impact daily in a fast-growing company. Work Location This role is located at our Corporate HQ in Tempe, AZ and is performed on-site, 5 days a week. What youll be doing Guide and lead day-to-day full life-cycle recruiting efforts for Operations recruiting, including hiring events and leadership recruiting where applicable. Inspire, motivate, and lead a recruiting team to meet individual and team KPIs/metrics and hiring targets. Train, guide, and support team members in developing recruiting strategies and initiatives for their areas of focus. Review and analyze data to identify trends; recommend solutions to improve recruiting effectiveness, identify efficiencies, and increase quality of hire. Monitor and maintain weekly and monthly reports to track staffing, hire rate, candidate pipeline, and other metrics to identify recruitment gaps. Onboard and train new team members, and support local in-market training when needed. Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate and meet evolving hiring needs. Develop a team that leverages a diverse toolbox of sourcing techniques and efficiently screens resumes against required skill sets. Support Operations leadership job requisitions from source to hire. Ensure a candidate-centric approach aligned with candidate needs and our employer brand. Partner with Talent Development, HR Operations, and Operations leadership to translate talent needs into quality candidates and new hires. Continuously seek ways to improve recruiting, candidate experience, interview practices, funnel-building, reporting, quality of hire, and hiring manager experience. Other duties as assigned. What you should know/have Bachelors degree from an accredited undergraduate institution. 5+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting, including leadership recruiting. 2+ years experience leading a team/others. Experience using virtual recruitment (social media, LinkedIn, resume sourcing, virtual career fairs). Experience working with an ATS, preferably Greenhouse. Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability to coach and motivate others with strong influencing skills. Energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutions. Wed love it if you also have Experience specifically in high-volume recruiting (2+ years preferred). Recruiting experience in the automotive industry. Experience coordinating and leading effective hiring events. Experience leading newer people leaders (Team Lead level). What well offer in return Full-Time Salary Position with a competitive salary.
