Position Overview As a LoopNet Regional Director, you will represent the industry’s most advanced digital advertising and marketing solutions. You’ll collaborate with top owners and brokers to craft digital strategies that showcase and distinguish property portfolios online. You will manage a team of sales professionals focused on expanding new and existing customer relationships, driving product adoption, preventing account reversals, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will increase revenue by selling new advertising and marketing solutions, growing existing accounts, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. All new Regional Directors receive extensive classroom and field training to build market credibility and career success.
Responsibilities
Attract, hire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals capable of meeting or exceeding defined sales quotas.
Spend 3–4 days per week in the field on sales calls, providing coaching and training to enhance team effectiveness.
Drive regional and team revenue growth, consistently meeting or surpassing annual sales targets.
Lead efforts to identify, prioritize, and secure new client relationships while retaining and expanding existing accounts.
Build familiarity with all major market players to support sales strategy.
Monitor sales performance and ensure team activity and client engagement align with goals; hold team members accountable.
Actively manage weekly team activities, including office presence, coaching sessions, and timely use of Enterprise CRM systems to track activity, pipeline, and accounts.
Set individual and team performance goals aligned with broader objectives; address performance issues promptly and make necessary personnel changes.
Mentor and develop team members to support professional growth and reinforce CoStar Group’s culture and values.
Travel to regional offices as required (up to 50%).
Role based out of Detroit, Cincinnati, or Pittsburgh offices.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years directly managing 5–10 sales professionals within Commercial Real Estate, Digital Advertising/Marketing, or related fields, including hiring and developing a high-performing team.
Experience leading sales in a transactional, consultative, fast-paced organization with a short sales cycle.
Experience managing a book of business with annual revenue over $1 million.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record checks prior to start.
Internal applicants: 5+ years of sales experience plus 18+ months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher while meeting/exceeding targets.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Ability to build long-term relationships and partnerships with clients at all levels.
Proven track record of growing a sales territory via new client acquisition and existing account growth while consistently exceeding targets.
Strong internal and external relationship-building skills across teams and channels.
Track record of retaining top sales producers and performance managing non-producers.
Ability to travel 25–30%.
Flexibility to adapt at a high-growth company.
