Sales Organization Description Our Sales Organization is made up of multiple segments and teams that sell across verticals. Verticals include Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, Communications Media & Technology, Consumer Business Services, Public Sector, Professional Services, Slack, MuleSoft, Tableau, Marketing Cloud, Specialization Cloud, Enterprise Corporate Sales and .ORG (Non Profit & Education). Core Teams sell the Salesforce Platform and Co Prime teams specialize in a specific cloud solution (e.g., Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Heroku, Quip).
Our Business Development Representative (BDR) team focuses on generating new business and whitespace pipeline through outbound prospecting with the goal of closed won business. You will work in a fast-paced team with varied future customers and receive personalized training and career opportunities.

In the BDR role, you support outbound sales teams through strategic prospecting and extensive account research. BDRs generate millions of dollars of new business pipeline each year and are enrolled in an intensive sales training program to develop fundamental sales skills.
Day to Day
Generate new business pipeline primarily through outbound prospecting
Manage inbound leads driven by outbound effort
Nurture early-stage opportunities
Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing Salesforce customers and net-new logos in assigned territory
Partner with core seller to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas
Align with internal account team
Identify key decision makers within new accounts
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years experience in business development, sales or related field
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with creative thinking and quality work
Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts (net-new and existing install)
Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and quota attainment
