3–4 years as an HRBP in a trading, finance, or fintech environment About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our clients growing team in Chicago. This is a strategic, hands-on HR role, offering the opportunity to work closely with business leaders across trading, equities, and operations. You’ll have ownership over HR initiatives and play a critical role in shaping the employee experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, driving talent strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting employee development and engagement. This role offers significant autonomy, a chance to work at the intersection of HR and business strategy, and exposure to innovative trading and technology environments. Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, career development, succession planning, and employee relations. Support organizational design, change management, and talent initiatives to optimize workforce performance. Partner with talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and learning teams to develop programs that attract, retain, and develop top talent. Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws, and conduct internal investigations as needed. Use HR analytics to inform decision-making and improve people initiatives. What We’re Looking For 3–4 years of experience as an HRBP, ideally within a trading firm, finance, or fast-moving tech environment. Strong experience in employee relations, talent management, performance coaching, and change management. Demonstrated ability to influence business leaders and drive strategic HR initiatives. Experience partnering with multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, benefits, and learning & development. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees are a plus but not necessary.
