We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with product inquiries, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and cash handling. Assist in merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure products are displayed attractively. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and perform basic math calculations for transactions. Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Support supervisory staff in training new associates and maintaining store standards. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with cashiering processes, cash handling, and retail math is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective customer interaction. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer service capabilities.
