Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient health issues in various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and specialty care environments. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to develop individualized care plans. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing evidence-based practices. Administer medications and perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and catheterization. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and preventive care. Manage patients in various specialties including but not limited to geriatrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care. Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance healthcare practices. Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for patient management. Skills

Candidates should possess the following skills: Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices. Experience with IV infusion, dialysis, triage, acute pain management, and emergency care. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems. Familiarity with telehealth services and outpatient care models. Strong understanding of infectious disease care, behavioral health, hospice & palliative medicine. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations including sonography and laboratory specimen collection/processing. Experience administering injections and performing physical examinations. Comfort working in high-pressure environments such as Level I or II trauma centers or emergency rooms. Knowledge of health coaching principles and utilization management strategies. Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care along with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
