Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in various auto body repair techniques and tools. Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement
- Conduct mechanical repairs as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Perform auto restoration work to bring vehicles back to their original condition
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking
- Apply paint using paint spraying equipment
- Ensure quality control by inspecting completed work for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to meet deadlines and customer expectations Experience:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with auto painting techniques and materials
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred Skills:
- Fabrication skills for repairing or replacing damaged panels
- Mechanical skills for conducting necessary repairs
- Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of auto restoration techniques for bringing vehicles back to their original condition
