Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with hands-on experience in various automotive services. Duties Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent removal. Utilize MIG welding and fabrication techniques for structural repairs. Conduct vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs as needed. Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment for various repair tasks. Execute auto painting using airless paint spraying methods to achieve high-quality finishes. Carry out detailing work to ensure vehicles meet customer expectations. Assist with auto glass replacement and installation. Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Engage with customers to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns. Skills Dealership experience is preferred but not required. Proficient in MIG welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment. Experience in auto restoration projects is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Knowledge of soldering techniques for electrical repairs is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients. Attention to detail in all aspects of auto body repair. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
