We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of technical equipment and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to network, audio-visual, and automation systems . Read and interpret floorplans and schematics. Perform cabling tasks, ensuring proper connections and organization of wires for safety and efficiency. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment for maintenance and repairs. Provide field service support to clients, addressing any technical issues that arise during or after installations. Collaborate with team members Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests. Prewire houses for distributed audio-visual systems, lighting control, motorized shades, and enterprise grade networks. Install speakers, televisions, and other equipment. Build and wire equipment racks. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience working for an AV integration company required. Solid understanding of networking and hands on experience with Ubiquiti, Eero, Ruckus, Araknis, and Cisco. Need to have the ability to lift 100 lbs, climb ladders, and do physical labor. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide prompt resolutions to maintain system functionality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed for service issues. Provide comprehensive training and support to clients and end-users, empowering them to maximize the potential of their smart home systems. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for travel to various job sites. Experience installing and troubleshooting Control4, Savant, Lutron, Vantage Lighting, and other automation systems. Programming experience and certifications preferred, but not required.
