Job Location: 30 Trefoil Drive, Trumbull, CT 06611 Position Type: contract( 12 months) with possible extension Pay Rate $26/hr on w2 with Benefits Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field Experience: 0 – 5 years relevant laboratory experience Skills • Experience with common analytical techniques, instrumentation, and software • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of safety protocols and proper laboratory practices • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities: Working under the direction of senior members of the Analytical Chemistry Team, the candidate will support product development and production by performing chemical analyses using a variety of analytical techniques (e.g. titration, chromatography, spectroscopy). • Perform analytical chemistry tests and experiments per written procedures or compendial methods. • Ensure accurate data is generated during laboratory testing. • Report results according to standard operating procedures. • Maintain laboratory notebook in accordance with standard operating procedures. • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. • Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures. • Provide technical support to oth Job Type: Full-time Pay: $ $26.00 per hour Work Location: In person
