Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our property management team in Anchorage. The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the leasing process—from initial inquiry through lease signing—while providing exceptional service to prospective and current residents. This role plays a key part in achieving occupancy goals maintaining positive resident relations, and supporting overall property operations. Responsibilities Greet, assist, and build rapport with prospective tenants in person, over the phone, and via email Conduct property tours and effectively communicate features, benefits, and availability to prospective tenants. Process rental applications and conduct background and credit checks in compliance with Fair Housing and local laws Prepare lease agreements and move-in documentation Accurately manage leasing paperwork and database entries (AppFolio) Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving conflicts in a timely manner. Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings. Stay informed about local rental market trends and competitor offerings to effectively negotiate lease terms. Perform data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed to support leasing operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Alaska Real Estate License Prior leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred (real estate or property management experience a plus) Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and Alaska landlord/tenant regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and property management software (experience with AppFolio a plus) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation, valid Alaska driver's license and insurance is required Job Type: Contract Work Location: In person
