Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lease Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and administrative support, with a focus on leasing processes and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations within our leasing department, managing tenant relationships, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Manage the lease administration process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating lease agreements. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Maintain accurate records of all leases, amendments, and related documents using Yardi or OneSite software. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and potential renters, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively. Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up on issues reported by tenants. Assist in the preparation of reports related to occupancy rates, lease expirations, and renewals. Conduct data entry tasks related to tenant information and lease agreements. Support sales initiatives by upselling available properties to prospective tenants. Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Handle administrative tasks such as filing documents, managing phone communications, and maintaining organized office systems. Requirements Bilingual, Spanish speaking. Proven experience in real estate administration or property management is preferred. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus. Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs is advantageous. Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and negotiation skills. Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and filing tasks. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated office experience with strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
