Job Title: Quality Inspector Plastic Injection Molding (2nd Shift)
Location: Port Huron, MI
Shift: 2nd Shift 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday (Overtime as needed)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in a fast-paced plastic injection molding environment producing automotive components. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all products meet customer and company quality standards before shipment. Key Responsibilities: Inspect plastic automotive parts for defects, ensuring they meet specifications. Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records. Identify and report quality issues to production and management. Follow established quality control procedures and work instructions. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Requirements: Prior experience in plastic injection molding inspection is required (automotive preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects. Familiarity with basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, and inspection instructions.
