Training Facilitator
The mission of Anoka County Community Corrections department is working to build a safer community. The department has an immediate opening for a Training Facilitator who will perform various duties, such as planning, organizing, and facilitating training programs. Anoka County's Human Services division is committed to working with people to improve lives through collaboration across its five departments: Community Corrections, Community Social Services & Behavioral Health, Economic Assistance, and the Job Training Center. This is a temporary, non-exempt, on-site position. Interviews will take place the week of September 15th, 2025, for those selected to move forward in the hiring process. Pay & Benefits Salary: $35.68 to $42.82 per hour. 2025 Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 34: $35.68 to $49.95 per hour. Advancement/professional development opportunities. Work Location This position will work at Anoka County Courthouse, located at 2100 3rd Ave, Anoka, MN 55303. Expected work hours may vary. Typical hours are Tuesday evenings from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Job Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate a Cognitive Based group curriculum to a group of juvenile probationers. Provide transportation for juveniles to and from group. Qualifications and Requirements Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Requires a high school diploma. At least 2 years (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Bachelor's degree or higher in Criminal Justice or closely related field. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Group facilitation experience. Certified Trainer in Cognitive Restructuring Skills training in Cognitive Skills curriculum(s) with 5 years (2,080 annual hours) of experience. Physical Demands and Work Conditions Standard office environment. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus, such as to work on computers. Ability to see colors, shades, and brightness. Hearing abilities required for general and phone communication, signals, and machine sounds. Assignments are sedentary, occasionally alternating between sitting, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling as required to perform job responsibilities. Frequent wrist and finger manipulation to complete computer work. Occasional lifting of 10-20 lbs. Equipment used includes computers, phones, and standard office equipment. Occasional travel to other county work sites as needed. Travel between work sites may require driving a county vehicle and/or a personal vehicle.
