The remote InfoSec Analyst will lead security assessments, ensure compliance with federal standards, advise on risk management, and manage authorization and continuous monitoring for complex systems. Anticipated Hire Date: Late September, early October, 2025. GeekSI covers 100 percent of employer contributions toward health insurance premiums for employees and 50 percent for dependents. We are currently not offering sponsorship. For example, no H-1B, O-1, E-3, EAD, TN or any related sponsorships. Responsibilities Analyzes client environments and business procedures, develops requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion in the subject matter area for simple to moderately complex systems. Assists staff with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in any specialized technical area, e.g., information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.

Must-Haves

Must currently reside in the US Must have a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent 8 years of experience as an InfoSec Analyst or similar role Experience leading system security assessments and audits Experience conducting security control selection, tailoring, and implementation guidance Experience managing System Security Plans (SSP), Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), and Continuous Monitoring strategies Experience performing risk analysis and providing risk mitigation recommendations Experience coordinating Security Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages Experience engaging with stakeholders to ensure security compliance without disrupting operations Experience with NIST standards

Preferred Skills/Experience

Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g., Archer, Xacta, RMF automation platforms) Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) Experience with SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight) for monitoring and reporting
