Summer Analyst, U.S. Real Estate Debt
We are actively looking for a Summer Analyst, U.S. Real Estate Debt, to join the team in Summer 2026. This role is based in Los Angeles and will report directly to the Associate, U.S. Debt Investments. The Summer Analyst will assist with the analysis and underwriting of new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and monitoring existing portfolio investments. The Summer Analyst plays an important role in supporting the execution of the growth strategy for QuadReal's U.S. debt platform. Conduct thorough due diligence of investment documents, third-party reports, and market data to support new loan origination. Conduct market research leveraging external databases, discussions with market participants, and internal research tools to support investment opportunities across multiple markets and asset classes. Create and maintain detailed cashflow and valuation models for new investment opportunities. Support the Investment Team in the monitoring of existing investments. Actively adhere to compliance and risk management policies. What You Will Bring: Education Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics. Analytical Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets. Communication Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages. Organization Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change. Comfortable following direction but also contributing to the direction. Software Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus. Relationship Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently. Experience Previous experience working with a real estate company (asset manager or developer), real estate brokerage or advisory firm, appraisal firm, or real estate lender is desirable.
