Product Manager
LaSalle Network has partnered with a grocery distribution company that is looking to hire a Contract Product Manager to support their Fulfillment team. This role will focus on the associate-facing web application within their proprietary associate shopping platform, Spectruma tool used by in-store associates to fulfill grocery delivery orders for services like DoorDash/Instacart. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact internal product that directly supports operational efficiency across retail locations. Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for web and mobile applications. Lead a scrum team with support from a Senior Product Manager. Work closely with a team of developers (web and mobile) to plan, test, and release features that support drivers and store operations. Manage the product backlog, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on priorities. Execute on the product roadmap and ensure timely delivery of features. Draft and distribute release notes for internal communication. Requirements:
6+ years of experience in product management, product analysis, or a similar role. Strong understanding of scrum/agile methodologies. Experience working with both web and mobile applications. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Background in internal tools, fulfillment, or logistics platforms is a plus. Must be able to work onsite in Chicago 3 days per week. This is an open-ended contract that could last several years or lead to a conversion, and they are looking to hire as soon as possible.
