General Summary
The Core Banking Technology Administrator is primarily responsible for core and ancillary applications of the credit union, help desk support and providing support for various credit union projects. Assist with maintaining policies and procedure according to FFIEC and other regulatory guidelines and best practices. This role requires flexibility for off-hours work, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, to accommodate system upgrades, maintenance, and emergency response. Essential Functions
The essential functions of this position may include, but are not limited to: Administers the Core Banking Platform (Fiserv DNA) and ancillary systems, including testing and roll out of new functionality of all systems. Evaluate and assist in testing new core system applications/modules as well as new releases for existing modules; monitor vendor notifications for new enhancements. Evaluate reported system issues and troubleshoot to identify potential causes or fixes; create and maintain online cases and open internal tickets for issues requiring the attention of the IT department. Coordinate with vendors for escalated issues, upgrades and enhancements to core banking and ancillary systems. Acts as the administrator for systems such as document management, RPA, loan origination systems, bank assist, online banking, p2p payments, VRU, online account opening, statements, forms and others as required. Assists the digital banking department the self-service digital channels such as online and mobile banking. Monitor usage reports, user activity, upgrades and enhancements. Administration of core and ancillary system users; add / delete / maintain and track user privileges. Responsible to manage the process of user onboarding, access changes and offboarding for Greenwood CU employees. Load and verify software; track and resolve equipment problems; assist with licensing and inventory control, specifically for core related hardware systems. Reporting writing and data analytics; uses available tools such as cview and SQL to write and revise reports. Continuously develop new strategies and work to integrate data sources across the organization for unified reporting and analysis. Assists with Internal Help Desk Support by providing assistance to end users with core and core ancillary systems password resets, hardware and or software related issues. Research and resolve help desk tickets as assigned. Research and evaluate emerging ancillary systems, apps, and third-party applications that can enhance operational efficiency, member experience, and digital service delivery. Coordinate and deliver training to department specific users on new and existing applications, ensuring adoption and effective usage. Assist in identifying and implementing efficiency improvements through process design and workflow, robotic process automation and artificial intelligence. Assists with technology related projects. Confers with persons who originate, handle, process or receive reports to identify problems and gather information for improvements to the reporting process. Provides professional service at all levels of operation; Assist and support area personnel and promote a team environment. Keeps management well informed of area activities and maintains all related records. Posses knowledge of and comply with Credit Union internal policies and procedures and regulatory laws applicable to position. Perform other duties as assigned; Participate in special assignments and projects as requested by management. Work in conjunction with other departments within the Credit Union to support each other's needs and the needs of GCU members. Complete annual regulatory compliance testing as assigned per the terms of internal policy and other internal and offsite training as necessary. Responsible for complying with the Credit Union's information security policies, procedures, and standards. This includes safeguarding member information, participating in required security awareness training, and reporting any suspected security incidents or vulnerabilities. Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner through written and verbal communication, attitude, appearance, work area, and thorough knowledge of GCU products and services.
