Job Description
This is a remote position.
Summary : This position is responsible for Small Business Administration (SBA) loan and deposit production and growing the Bank's small business portfolio across all geographic lending areas. Responsibilities include preparing and recommending SBA loan requests, including review, analysis, and ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Understand and comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Banks Commercial Loan Underwriting, Documentation, and SBA policies and procedures
Structure and price SBA loans properly
Perform due diligence on SBA loan requests, reviewing for compliance, understanding the applicant's business, management, industry, and preparing pre-flights for significant credit issues
Use the Banks software and tools to submit and originate SBA loans
Accurately enter data into the loan origination system, building customer and related entity relationships
Develop a calling program to build SBA loan and deposit portfolios and expand relationships with SBA-related entities and professionals
Serve as the primary contact for SBA customers, resolving issues related to deposits, treasury management, online banking, and loans
Collaborate with underwriting to produce complete credit presentations, including reviewing financial covenants
Manage Commercial Loan Documentation Analysts to ensure accuracy and organization of all loan documentation
Order third-party reports, collect documentation, and ensure proper filing and compliance
Monitor the loan portfolio for reporting, trend analysis, financial tracking, and covenant management
Contribute to the Banks CRA portfolio
Collaborate with bank and advisory departments to provide excellent service and referrals
Participate in training and cross-training efforts
Provide excellent customer service and support client acquisition and retention
Knowledgeably discuss various loan programs and procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
Salary Range : The salary range is a good faith estimate and varies based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
Geographic Location :
Irvine, CA : $89,200 - $109,800 (Annually)
Naples, FL : $85,400 - $105,000 (Annually)

Education and / or Experience :
Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or comparable experience
5-7 years of related experience
Strong business development skills and experience in commercial lending and deposits
Knowledge of loan documentation secured by various assets
Experience with business entity documentation
Customer service ethics and team-building skills
Skills :
Relationship building and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and underwriting skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize and work independently in a high-volume environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Physical Demands : Regular sitting, use of hands, walking, occasional standing, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
