CNC Machine Operator

Dixon Quick Coupling, a proud division of Dixon Valve & Coupling Company, is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team! As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, producing precision components that are integral to our high-performance coupling systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team! A successful candidate will set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precise metal components. The operator will also be responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet drawing specifications. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Candidates should have at least five years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes or mills. What You'll Do: Operate multiple CNC machines. Perform daily maintenance activities. Participate in training and learn about Dixon products. Work as a team member. Work safely around equipment and coworkers. Be flexible with rotating assignments. What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Five years of CNC setup experience is required. The preferred previous role is a CNC Lathe or Mill Setup Operator. Manufacturing or machine shop experience is also needed. Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes or mills. Ability to develop programming skills. Familiarity with Fanuc controls a plus! Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles a plus! Mechanical aptitude. Great attitude and attendance. Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints. Ability to use measuring tools and shop mathematics. Ability to stand for 8 hours. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds over the course of a shift. Willingness to learn new things and be part of a team.
