HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist, you will assist in ensuring a smooth and efficient Manufacturing operation by providing employment support for Hourly Bargaining Unit employees to guarantee a great employee experience. Responsibilities Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes, assist with workforce analysis, deployment and people power management based on contractual obligations and corporate policies Manage the day-to-day Employment window functions: leave tracking, reinstatements, general employee questions and support, records management, etc. Implement the onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce Support the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives Assist with the administration of the national and local collective bargaining agreements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree Proficient with Microsoft Suite Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong follow up, problem solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends
Preferred Requirements
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field 1+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field Able to interact with all levels of management and Union officials to accomplish goals Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
