BASIC FUNCTION: To support the company's sales goals through effective sales techniques and exceptional customer service. Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish, grow and maintain effective relationships with assigned accounts. Answer incoming sales calls, written inquiries, and inbound requests. Develop and maintain relationships with special events clients. Utilize all available tools to gain leads; i.e., Salesforce, local neighborhood, local journals, referrals, etc. Present company products and services to both current and prospective clients. Prepare price quotes to new and existing clients. Attend networking and industry events to promote the AFR brand. Cross-sell other areas of furniture rental (i.e., event, office, tradeshow, etc.). Assist in Collections efforts for all assigned Special Events Accounts. Resolve customer concerns promptly and tactfully; negotiation skills are advantageous. Review and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective actions to management. Collaborate with the inside sales team (Event Sales Consultant) to meet monthly sales goals. Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email. Identify and research potential sales leads for visits, along with leads generated by the inside sales team. Conduct 40 pre-planned in-person meetings monthly with existing and potential clients, recorded in CRM with follow-up tasks. Create a 12-month business plan with core objectives and quarterly initiatives. Enter information related to potential leads and existing clients. Create presentations for clients' event needs and in-person meetings. Assist clients in designing their events and suggest options based on theme, budget, availability, and style. Communicate rental policies clearly and manage client expectations. Attend weekly Sales/Ops meetings. Participate in 3-5 networking events per month. Engage in monthly calls with the regional sales team and participate in training sessions. Assist in communication with clients regarding aging and billing.
