Job Description
Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, the candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps practices. The candidate works closely with software engineers, cybersecurity teams, and system architects to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines and cloud environments supporting mission-critical aerospace applications. Architect and maintain scalable AWS cloud environments. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Ensure zero-downtime deployments and rollback strategies. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Optimize orchestration for high availability and performance. Integrate DevSecOps practices to meet aerospace cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies. Set up observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for performance and reliability. Implement cost optimization strategies aligned with FinOps principles. Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture across teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, QA, and infrastructure. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices. Certification as an AWS DevOps Engineer will be highly desirable. Qualifications
