Minimum Required:
A Bachelor's of Science Degree (B.S.) or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
Preferred:
One year experience as a pharmacist
License/Certification Minimum Required:
Licensed as a Pharmacist in New York State or NYS internship permit

Work Environment All work is performed in offices that require working in close quarters with other employees. The pharmacy settings are air conditioned / heated. Adequate protective wear available for handling certain drugs (i.e., chemo) such as a mask, gown and gloves. Gloves and goggles are available for other procedures as necessary. Distribution of Medications ‐ walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, manual dexterity, reading Drug Information / Clinical Activities ‐ sitting, talking, vision, fingering, manual dexterity, reading Keyboarding / Computer ‐ Manual dexterity, sitting, grasping, vision, reaching 6" Answering Telephones ‐ reaching 6", fingering, hearing Compounding ‐ walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, manual dexterity, reading Equipment Used: carts, computer, printer, pharmacy robotics, phones and fax machines Employees are required to have reasonable access to transportation to meet work requirements made in the ordinary course of business in a timely and efficient manner.
