Overview

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center Opening in 2025. When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, and will specifically serve residents of Wards 7 and 8 with access to high-quality care in their community. The hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking a Supervisor, Security (Full Time) Our ideal candidate will assist in planning, developing, administering and managing the day-to-day operations of the Security Department. The Security Supervisor will determine appropriate actions during emergency situations, including on-site supervision as appropriate. The role includes performing a variety of service and administrative tasks to meet the needs of customers and team members in a timely manner. Supervise daily security operations, support incident response, and ensure safety and security of patients, families, staff and visitors. coordinate with hospital leadership and external partners during emergencies. Provide on-site supervision and guidance to front-line security staff and contractors. Maintain records and reports related to security incidents and daily activity. Qualifications

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years of age 3 years security supervisory experience or equivalent IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety) Supervisor Certification within 180 days of service or hire Must be able to obtain Special Police Officer designation Previous professional experience that demonstrates progressive leadership Skills: Computer proficiency Effective verbal and written communication Ability to review written incident reports accurately Strong organization and critical thinking skills Effective interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities Benefits
