DAY IN THE LIFE / RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of the project from preconstruction through closeout. Work with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budgets. Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss cost-saving ideas, and negotiate contracts and fees. Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors. Identify opportunities to procure material or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to budget or schedule. Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes, project schedule, and site logistics. Lead preconstruction planning meetings to address constructability, sequencing, and manpower issues. Lead on-site progress meetings to review progress and address challenges with the client. Track project performance against budget; prepare pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports. Find ways to make the construction process enjoyable for clients, subcontractors, and vendors without compromising quality or safety. NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS BS in Engineering or related field 25 years of construction management or engineering design experience Experience leading ground-up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects is preferred Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project MOSTLY FORMS OF EMPLOYMENT We are one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in America with over 30 years of design-build experience.
