Recruitment Specialist
Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing and extending offers of employment for high volume non-exempt and exempt level hires with aggressive timelines. Develop, implement and execute creative recruitment programs to attract high caliber talent for all positions assigned to specific geographic locations; maintain active list of qualified candidates. Research, develop and utilize innovative, cost effective recruitment methods to consistently source and provide a diverse pool of qualified candidates, including internet mining, advertising, job fairs, networking, open houses, employee referrals, community-based organizations, external recruiters, and colleges. Develop and maintain partnerships with hiring managers from assigned business units to achieve recruitment objectives through collaboration and verify appropriate position requirements. Initiate contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings. Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, available start date. Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with hiring managers. Coordinate participation, set up display, and recruit in person at job fairs. Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates as necessary. Participate in staffing and recruiting projects as well as serve on cross-functional projects within Human Resources as needed. Manage and update ATS system to track candidate flow and ensure data integrity. Maintain weekly recruiting activity report. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Director, Talent Acquisition. Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management). Able to use effective communication and interpersonal skills to convince others to accept ideas or goals (with or without the formal authority of a higher position); Able to gain agreement and commitment from others to support and implement methods or processes. Able to make a point to understand the change; Able to promote the benefits of change and develop systems and procedures to effectively implement change; Able to consider the business and human impact of change. Able to act as part of a larger team outside of the immediate department or group; Able to understand the importance of working with peers in other areas or management to reach "best practice" solutions for the organization; Able to inform and seek information to anticipate and consider the impact of decisions or actions on the overall organization. Able to see the "big picture" and be future-thinking; Able to anticipate future trends and consequences accurately; Able to take a broad perspective; Able to create a vision of organizational objectives; Able to make decisions based on long-term company goals. Able to examine the status quo and consistently look for better ways of doing things; Able to recommend changes based on analyzed needs; Able to develop proper solutions and identify opportunities. Able to deliver top quality service to all customers (internal and external); Able to ensure all details are covered and adhere to company policies; Able to strive to do things right the first time; Able to meet agreed-upon commitments or advises customer when deadlines are jeopardized; Able to define high standards for quality and evaluate products, services, and own performance against those standards. High school diploma or equivalent; Associates / Bachelors degree preferred. 4 - 7 years prior recruiting experience with demonstrated success in performing targeted recruiting searches both at the non-exempt and exempt level. Strong research and candidate generation skills. Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment. Prior project management experience preferred. Experience utilizing ATS such as UKG. Proactive consultative style with exceptional communications skills. Mix of corporate and agency experience would be ideal. Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties. Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor. Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; Ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device. Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required. Travel requirements: Approximately 10%. Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours. Regular attendance and punctuality required. May be subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy.
