HR Generalist
to join our team and drive key HR functions, with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, and compliance with I-9 documentation requirements.

$65,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for hourly and salaried roles. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create compelling job descriptions and postings. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating assessments, and facilitating selection decisions. Build relationships with local schools, workforce development agencies, and community organizations to establish a talent pipeline.
Onboarding
Oversee a seamless and welcoming onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are fully integrated into the company culture. Conduct orientation sessions to communicate company policies, benefits, and safety protocols. Collaborate with department managers to coordinate training schedules and ensure readiness for production floor roles.
Compliance & I-9 Documentation
Ensure accurate and timely completion of Form I-9 for all new hires, maintaining strict compliance with federal regulations. Conduct regular audits of I-9 documentation and records to address errors and ensure readiness for external reviews. Stay updated on changes to employment eligibility verification laws and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
HR Operations & Employee Relations
Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee data management and policy administration. Serve as a resource for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR matters. Foster positive employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and providing guidance on conflict resolution.
Reporting & Metrics
Track and report recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates) and other HR KPIs to measure process efficiency and identify improvement areas. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, providing reports as needed for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Proven track record of managing high-volume recruiting and onboarding. Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify processes.
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
