Territory Sales Manager, Grid Automation - Central
Location: Central Region of the US (preferably Denver, CO; other acceptable locations: Northern California or Salt Lake City, Utah). The Territory Sales Manager in Hitachi Energys Grid Automation business works to energize the power grid transformation by helping utilities and energy providers modernize infrastructure and meet evolving energy needs. This is more than a sales roleit is a strategic partnership opportunity. Youll work with protection & control systems, grid edge solutions, and network automation tools, collaborating with industry experts and influencing decision-makers to deliver solutions that shape the future of energy. How Youll Make an Impact
Build and expand relationships with key Grid Automation customers Lead strategic account planning and pipeline development Represent a full portfolio of grid automation products and services Deliver insights and guidance to customers navigating complex solutions Collaborate across teams to execute impactful sales strategies Attend industry events and represent Hitachi Energys thought leadership Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy Engage in critical project touchpoints and escalate when needed Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Your Background
Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience; candidates with an Associates degree or high school diploma will be considered based on experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or grid automation Proven technical selling aptitude in energy or adjacent industries Strong communication and relationship-building skills Willingness to travel extensively Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce High percentage of travel will be required Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States More About Us
