Food Services, Patient Care Clerk
This position is responsible for building patient meal orders and delivering them to the patient room in a timely manner. Responsibilities: * Prepare patient trays according to specified diet order (includes condiments, cold and hot items). Prepare patient meal trays to follow quality, presentation, item placement, and patient meal tray accuracy. * Deliver completed patient meal orders to patient rooms in a timely manner to meet department expectations; Following all required protocols including isolation and hand hygiene. Navigate through multiple information systems simultaneously (CBORD and Tray Monitor) * Check diet discrepancies in diet order if prompted by Tray Monitor or CBORD. Prepare condiments or cold items as needed. * Stock tray line supplies as needed. Deliver floor stock supplies to units as needed. * Clean, dry and mat trays as needed; Wrap silverware as needed. All side duties as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as needed. Work Experience: * At least 1 year related experience. Preferred Education: * High school diploma or GED Required Licenses and Certifications: * Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, and maintain current status thereafter.
