Job Description: In this role, you will grow and maintain relationships with existing named accounts, by selling Rockwell Automation's products and services within a geographic territory. The Account Manager will be a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their processes and business goals, while providing guidance on strategic programs. Reporting to the Industry Sales Manager, this role will be a hybrid position based out of Appleton, WI. Your responsibilities include: Owning the account strategy within assigned accounts and communicating to extended teams on an account by account basis. Establishing executive level relationships within the customer base and understanding customer processes, business drivers and organizational model. Establishing a trusted advisor relationship with customers, understanding customer processes, business drivers and organization model while providing guidance on customer's strategic initiatives. Following the Rockwell Automation sales process: knowing assigned accounts, planning for growth, maintaining a healthy funnel, driving opportunities to closure and evaluating performance to goal. Understanding the Pulp & Paper industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers and trends), the customer's organization and desired business outcomes and Rockwell Automation offerings and delivery mechanisms as well as partner capabilities relevant to assigned accounts. Providing application knowledge and industry expertise. Managing sales activities according to Rockwell Automation's outcome-based selling methodology. Proactively collaborating with the North America Regional Industry Managers. Qualifying customer opportunities, engaging the appropriate resources and coordinating the solution design to impact the customer's decision process and presenting solutions to the customer (value proposition).
