Northeast Region Power Sector Business Development Leader
to spearhead client engagement, business development, and strategic growth across a dynamic and evolving energy landscape. Lead Strategic Growth: Drive HDRs market share and revenue growth across the Northeast (New England, NY, NJ, PA, OH, WV, VA, MD, DE). Build Client Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to key utilities and power developers. Understand their goals and align HDRs capabilities to meet their needs. Drive Business Development: Lead major pursuits and campaigns, develop winning strategies, and guide proposal efforts that reflect deep client insight. Shape Market Strategy: Collaborate with market and operations leadership to define and execute regional strategic plans. Mentor and Train: Support the maturation of business development skills across teams, fostering a culture of client focus and strategic thinking. Align Resources: Ensure the right talent and expertise are matched to client needs and growth opportunities in collaboration with operational partners. Help HDR attract great people. What You Bring
Bachelors degree in engineering, sciences, business, marketing, or related field. Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the power market, with a strong track record in client development and strategic leadership. Proven success in leading major business development efforts and building long-term client relationships. Deep understanding of the Northeast energy market. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel and engage with clients and teams across the region. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working within the Northeast U.S. power sector. Familiarity with the way professional and construction services are solicited and contracted across the power market (transmission, distribution, generation, renewables, environmental, etc.). Join Us
