Work cross-functionally with business, tech, and compliance teams to drive effective and scalable data oversight practices. You'll help shape and integrate information governance into processes, tools, and strategic decision-making across departments. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business units to align governance efforts with real-world operations. Work with Privacy and Security to clarify roles and ensure data protection goals are met. Partner with tech teams to embed governance within software development and delivery lifecycles. Streamline governance by incorporating responsibilities into current workflows (e.g., assessments, tech collaborations). Improve third-party data sharing processes, enabling smarter, faster decision-making. Enhance personal data tracking (PII), focusing on systems like GCP and Salesforce. Build sustainable processes for data inventory accuracy. Define success metrics and design dashboards to monitor governance maturity. Align with Enterprise Architecture to measure and improve data governance in application evaluations. Support broader data architecture principles through a governance lens. Details

This is a contract role (6+ months) with potential for full-time hire. Preference for Atlanta-based candidates available for hybrid in-office collaboration. What You Bring

1015 years experience in data governance, analytics, or data strategy. Strong understanding of data oversight models, frameworks, and quality principles. Ability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with data security/privacy concepts and SDLC methodologies. Hands-on experience with metadata, cataloging tools, and KPI reporting. Bonus Points
