IT Developer – West Des Moines, IA at Iowa Select Farms. The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom application programs to meet business needs across the organization. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and maintain custom applications. Analyze business processes and data flow to create and expand on current internal applications. Provide specialized assistance in planning and development of new projects, conduct research, and recommend procedures for successful implementation. Integrate custom developed applications with third-party systems. Develop, manage, and maintain liaison with end-user teams to assess utilization, evaluate needs, consider system enhancements, and identify implementation strategies and priorities. Demonstrate sound time-management by organizing, prioritizing, and completing multiple assignments in a timely manner. Provide training and operational assistance to enable a positive end-user experience with custom applications. Monitor security of data to ensure integrity and reliability of computerized information. Communicate progress, technical issues, and resolutions to IT Director. Interpret verbal and nonverbal information to understand needs and respond appropriately. Attend administrative, departmental and team meetings as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned. Maintain a professional demeanor in dress, language, and actions to promote trust and confidence in the team and organization. Qualifications

BA in a related discipline (MIS, computer science, IT) plus 3+ years of related experience. Experience as an SQL programmer and administrator, SSRS development, C# and .NET, MVC, HTML5, API integrations, and web application development. Proven ability to analyze business processes and data flow and to integrate custom applications with third-party systems. Work Environment and Requirements

Temp or permanent, in-office role with standard office equipment usage; indoor, climate-controlled environment. Full-time position expected to require a minimum of 40 hours per week, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday; occasional evenings or weekend work may be required. Adhere to bio-security, safety, and animal wellbeing policies; participate in related trainings as needed. Physical and Travel

Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. No travel is required for this position. Seniority level
