Food Server
The Food Server serves guests and patrons of the Mohegan Sun Country Club according to department policies and procedures. Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to: Services guests in the restaurant according to specific department procedures Sets up stations, does sidework and other opening and closing duties, as directed by the Restaurant Manager Assists with arranging the room and setting tables for special events, as needed Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in the cashier function Up-sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities May be asked to fill in as a Bartender, as needed Maintains a clean and sanitary work area Minimum Education and Qualifications: Previous food serving experience Must have experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Basic knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and beverage service techniques Training Requirements: Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures Food and restaurant concept knowledge Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time Fast paced kitchen environment Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
