The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the plant's HR operations, with a focus on hourly employee relations, recruiting, and other HR functions. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience with Ceridian Dayforce. Responsibilities: Provide guidance and support to hourly employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs Assist in the recruitment and selection process for hourly positions, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations Conduct investigations and provide resolution for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees Collaborate with managers and supervisors to address performance management and disciplinary actions, providing guidance and coaching as needed Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement, training and development, and HR analytics Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, continually seeking opportunities to improve HR processes and practices Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or other HRIS systems is highly preferred Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
