About The Human Resources Generalist Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and approachable Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations and drive a positive employee experience. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, supporting managers, and providing guidance across all areas of human resources.
Key Responsibilities For Human Resources Generalist
- Partner with managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation
- Administer benefits, leave of absence requests, and HR compliance programs
- Support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and orientation for new hires
- Assist with payroll processing and HRIS data accuracy
- Provide guidance on company policies, employment law, and best practices
- Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and strengthen company culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
- Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions-focused approach
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred, but not required
- Competitive salary range ($60K–$75K)
