Mid-Level Litigation Paralegal
Location:
New York, NY
Schedule:
Full-Time | On-site | Overtime required (evenings, weekends, holidays)
What You'll Do: Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial prep, and post-trial procedures. Conduct
cite-checking
and verify legal sources, Bluebooking as needed. Organize and manage case files and ESI, coordinate document production and review. Utilize
Relativity
for document management (searching, coding, and exporting documents). Draft and revise pleadings, discovery documents, and other litigation materials. Conduct in-depth legal and factual research using
Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg , and other platforms. Manage deposition prep, trial notebooks, exhibit binders, and court filings. Maintain communication with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and outside vendors. What You'll Bring: Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
in a law firm setting.
Skills:
Must have strong
cite-checking
capabilities. Working knowledge of
judicial and administrative procedures , litigation terminology, and court rules. Proficiency in
Relativity
is a strong plus. Familiarity with
iManage ,
MS Word ,
Excel ,
Outlook , and
Adobe Acrobat .
Attributes:
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
